Mechanical / Plumbing Field Foreman

In this role, you’ll be working closely with the Project Superintendent planning and executing new
construction projects such as office buildings, central plants, higher education, and variety of
other building types. Within this role, you’ll find an outlet to use experience and craftsmanship in
planning and executing installations of various scopes of work.

•Valid United States Driver’s license.
•Proven working experience in practical installations and construction management.
•Leadership and human resources management skills.
with excellent time, scope, and task management skills.
•Minimum of 5 years of Mechanical Piping & Plumbing.
•Journeyman or Master Plumbing license. (approved by Archer Exec.)
•Skillful in clear and effective communication between general contractors, numerous departments, vendors, subtrades,
management and shop or field crafts.
•Sound understanding of industry environment relative to mechanical design, detailing, model and drawing data exchange,
specification compliance, schedule discipline, change management, billings and reporting.


•Read and interpret construction drawings. Know and understand the scope of the systems you oversee in it’s entirety.
•Support Archer Superintendents by managing the assigned scope and provide context in all aspects and of day to day activities.
– Be the onsite “eyes & ears” of the superintendents.
•Use the Archer training method E.D.G.E to mentor our Journeymen, Apprentices and Laborers in components of plumbing and
mechanical systems, per code and the Archer way.
•Communicate the good, the bad and the great by giving constructive and respectful guidance.
•Oversee job site safety at or above OSHA and Archer standards.
•Seek ideas to improve safety, productivity and quality control on and off project sites.
•Provide and see to quality control for all installations, including Subcontractors. Verify installation meets or exceeds applicable
codes, project specifications and Archer standards.
•Provide onsite manpower & crew management for assigned scopes. Work with other Foreman and/or trades to maximize
resources safey and efficienctly.
•Forecast and manage the tools and material for your assigned crews/scope.
